Support the Protect Adoptees and American Families (PAAF) Act
A community petition is gathering support for the Protect Adoptees and American Families Act (PAAF), a bipartisan bill designed to provide citizenship protections for internationally adopted adults excluded under current law. The legislation seeks to address a longstanding legal gap that has left many adoptees without the rights and security promised through adoption.
Coming Home to Self: A Ketamine Retreat for Adoptees
Created by adoptees for adoptees, this intimate 3-day retreat offers a space to explore the deeper layers of the adoptee experience.
Participants will be supported through two physician prescribed journeys, IFS and trauma informed integration, quiet reflective time and connection with others who understand the complexity from the inside.
Why Ketamine? Ketamine assisted experiences help quiet our habitual thoughts and create space for new insight, emotional openness, and compassion. Research suggests it supports the brains ability to form new neural connections and flexibility in our emotional and nervous system patterns. Many participants describe this work as deeply meaningful and often life changing. Limited to 6 participants-we currently have one spot remaining.

Participants Needed: IRB-Approved Research Study
Lillian Wolfe is conducting an IRB-approved research study which includes one in-person or virtual interview that will take about 90 minutes to complete per participant. All immediate members of the adoptive family over the age of 18 are welcome to apply!
You are eligible if:
- You live in the United States.
- You (and all participating members) speak English, Mandarin, and/or Levant Arabic.
- You are over the age of 18 and are a 1) self-identified transracial adoptee, 2) adoptive parent of a transracial adoptee, or 3) a sibling (whether adopted or non-adopted) of a transracial adoptee.
- Including yourself, at least 1 transracial adoptee, 1 adoptive parent, and 1 sibling of a transracial adoptee in your family are all over the age of 18 and are willing to participate in this study.
Your contribution is valuable and will expand the research on how to best support adoptees and their families! As a thank-you for your contribution, each participating family member will receive:
a) an easy-to-read, confidential report/summary of the study’s findings, and
b) a $50 Amazon e-gift card!

An active member of Indigenous community Melissa works to uphold the values of Tamánwit (Sacred Law) and the Seven Grandfather Teachings of her Columbia Plateau and Anishinaabe relatives bringing 30 years of professional experience as a spirit worker, ancestor whisperer, traditional spiritual healer, storyteller, and storylistener.

Adoptee-Led Sacred Plant Medicine Retreats
Mee Ok, a Korean adoptee, is co-founder of Inin Nete Sacred Plant Medicine Healing Center in Pucallpa, Peru, where she apprentices in the Shipibo tradition alongside Maestra Maricela, adoptee Maestro Francisco, and their children. Inin Nete offers 8-night guided ayahuasca retreats with a 4:10 healer-to-guest ratio and a maximum of 10 participants. The center is indigenous-owned and rooted in lineage-based initiation built for decolonization and reconnection with the sacred.
